The design phase was slower than I expected because we spent time refining scope and deciding what belonged in version one versus later releases. In hindsight, that was useful, even if it felt drawn out at the time. Once development started, progress became more visible. We had regular check-ins, test builds, and a shared list of open items that kept everyone aligned. There were a couple screens where I asked for revisions more than once because the flow felt too busy. They were patient about reworking it.

After launch, we had a stable app, faster time to market than building separately for two platforms, and a better experience for customers engaging with our brand on mobile.
